• Payment for e-visa fee must be made in cash at Royal Thai Embassy, Tehran, during working days on Sunday – Thursday (except official and public holidays) from 08.30 – 12.00 hours.
• The processing time for Visa is at least 5 (five) business days. However, the times may vary depending on workload.
• Visa fee is non-refundable, please check whether your information is correct before submit the application.
• Consular officers reserve the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary and also reserve the right to cancel or reject any application without having to provide reason.
• Per the regulation, The Royal Thai Embassy "can not" issue a visa for foreign national who are currently in Thailand. All travelers need obtain a visa before entering Thailand.
• The Royal Thai Embassy "can" issue a visa for foreign national who are currently living in Iran or Syria with a valid residence permit.
• Iranian and Syrian who are not living in Iran or Syria must apply for a visa at a country where they are currently residing. For example, Iranian or Syrian who is living in United Arab Emirates must apply for a visa at Royal Thai Embassy, Abu Dhabi, or Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai.
• Holder of Afghanistan passport and Pakistan passport who doesn't live or doesn't have a valid Iranian or Syrian residence permit needs to apply for a visa at Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad.
• Holder of Palestine passport who doesn't live or doesn't have a valid Iranian or Syrian residence permit needs to apply for a visa at Royal Thai Embassy, Amman.
