Non - Immigrant Visa "B" (Teaching)

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for the purpose of employment as a teacher, a professor, or an expert in a government or a private educational institution in Thailand.

The validity of visa is 3 months. The permitted length of stay is up to 90 days from the date of arrival in Thailand.

Required documents:

1. Visa application form which is completely filled out and signed by the applicant.
2. An original and a copy of passport or travel document (must not expire within 180 days and contain at least two complete empty visa pages).
3. A photo of the applicant (4 x 6 cm, taken within 6 months).
4. An original letter of acceptance from a government agency at the departmental level or by the Provincial Governor in charge of that particular institution or by a concerned authority under the Ministry of Education.
5. An original letter confirming employment details from schools/universities signed by authorized person together with a copy of ID card or passport of the signer (or employment contract between the applicant and the qualified private educational institution / school, indicating details of position, salary, and the employment term)
6. School/university’s registration or license to establish an educational institution issued by the Private Education Commission / governmental competent authority, a list of shareholders, and school profile.
7. Evidence of educational qualification such as a copy of diplomas/ teaching certification or copies of transcript (English version and certified by Iranian Authority).
8. Certificate of criminal record clearance (verification have to valid for not more than three months) (English version and certified by Iranian Authority)
