Entry Procedure for Foreigners Married to a Thai Citizen

According to Clause 3 (1) of the Regulation issued under Section 9 of
the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548
(No. 1), foreigners married to a Thai citizen who are in urgent need to enter the
Kingdom of Thailand may submit application for entry. Applications will be
considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account of the urgency reasons.
Applicant can submit copies of the following documents to the
Embassy via email ([email protected]) for consideration:
1.1 A letter stating reasons for urgent need to travel to Thailand
1.2 Passport
1.3 Thai spouse’s passport
1.4 Marriage certificate
1.5 Covid-19-free Health Certificate issued no longer than 72 hours
before the date of travel
1.6 Fit-to-Fly Health Certificate issued no longer than 72 hours before
the date of travel
1.7 Health insurance with minimum coverage of 100,000 US Dollars,
including treatment of COVID-19
1.8 Air ticket reservation
1.9 Proof of Reservation for Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) for a
period of 14 days from the date of the arrival at his/her own expense (List of ASQ is
available at http://hsscovid.com)
1.10 Completed Declaration Form
If application is approved, the Royal Thai Embassy will grant a visa
(if applicant does not have a valid visa) and issue a Certificate of Entry (COE) for
the applicant.
